Through it all, Ethan still risks being a mortal and going through the ancient archived tunnels for the supernatural that run all through the world to find Lena even though she has tried to tell him to stay away because she was afraid of hurting, or worse, killing him when she chose. Throughout the tunnels, Ethan's aunt gives him an enchanted cat who has been spying on Lena and John and as long as Ethan has the cats collar, he can see everything the cat can see. Despite every attempt to push him away and tell him to stop loving her, Ethan never stops until he finds her and helps her have enough confidence in herself to make her choice. Ethan doesn't give up, and that's why this song is so appropriate.
